The basket shows 0 when you go back to the menu to continue shopping

Hi, attached a screen video. When a customer selects a product and puts it in the basket, then you can see 1 item in the basket top right hand corner of the screen.
If the customer then clicks on the menu to select another product. (why isn´t there a continue shopping button?) The basket will now show 0 – zero items in the basket. When the customer selects a new item the basket will once again show the real number of items in the basket
