No Mega Pages on Visual Template?

Can you please add the option for a megapage before or after content on the ‘Visual Template’?

I asked about this and was told to just use the page builder, but when I am re-using content that is on many pages, it makes no sense to maintain that code in multiple areas.

Please, please add this ability.

Or even better would be a shortcode to insert a megapage wherever you want.
